About The Farm
Castle Creavie takes it's name from the Iron Age Castle Fort once situated in the centre of the farm. Charlie and Elaine run a large flock of sheep on this 300 acre farm. The working life goes on around the farm, where guests are always welcome to observe the day to day life on the farm which is clean, safe and has clearly marked paths for our visitors to enjoy.
We welcome well behaved dogs in the steading and usually have a field available especially for dog walking.
To encourage the natural wildlife on the farm we have planted hedgerows and trees, created a pond, protect water margins and manage the grassland as a haven for birds and wild flowers. We have seen over 70 different types of birds throughout the year, and enjoy seeing hares, stoats, deer and foxes.
Home produced lamb, pork and bacon are usually available, free range eggs, home made fresh bread (to order), our own honey. Seasonal fruit to pick from hedgerows.
